ATLANTA — A man trying to sell water in Atlanta on Tuesday afternoon was shot after getting into an argument with another man at the I-75 north ramp at Cleveland Avenue, police said.

Atlanta Police responded to the location just before 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and found a 32-year-old man who had been shot in his left arm. He was alert and breathing and tended to by medical personnel at the scene.

Police said their initial investigation shows that he was trying to sell water in the area, when he became involved in an argument with another man, which escalated to the man trying to sell water getting shot by the suspect, according to Atlanta Police.

APD did not say whether they had anybody in custody at this time, but 11Alive is working to find out more information on the shooting. Credit:
