MILO, Maine (WABI) - The owners of a newly opened residential care facility in Milo are helping to fill in a need for older folks and their families.

Three Rivers Residential Care Home held its grand opening earlier Tuesday, with a ribbon cutting ceremony taking place at 1pm.

Owners Mark and Eryn Savard spent the last 10 months renovating the building after purchasing the property in December. The husband and wife also operate the Jem Estates elder care facility in Corinth.

The Savard’s say they hope residents will feel at home, with 24 hour staffing helping to assist with meal preparation, medication and appointment scheduling.
