BIG COUNTRY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Whether you're hitting up Sayles Boulevard or maybe even a local church, many across the Big Country are gearing up to hit their favorite trick-or-treat spots. For one Wylie neighborhood, celebrating Halloween has become a trademark for those who live in the area.
One home that really stands out this time of year belongs to Jennifer Standridge, who said that creating the decorations for this holiday has become a family tradition.
"Our daughter was still kind of that pre-teen age, and when her friends asked her and her teacher asked her, 'What did you do this weekend? ' she said, 'Build coffins!' Then she proceeded to mess with her friends, and she kept walking up to them and kind of going, 'Yeah, you'd fit,'" Standridge recalled.
