The Frederick County Health Department will offer free "sanitary surveys" of some wells for Adamstown residents concerned about possible negative impacts from the Quantum Frederick data center campus currently in development at the nearby former Alcoa Eastalco Works site.
Several local residents said at a community meeting in September near Adamstown that their wells have tested positive for nitrates and E. coli since construction of the data centers began.
