Tata Motors will launch the new-generation Sierra SUV in India on November 25, 2025. Positioned between the Tata Curvv and Harrier, the Sierra will be offered first with internal combustion engine (ICE) options, followed later by an electric version.
The new Sierra will join Tata’s growing SUV portfolio, which currently includes ICE models like the Punch, Nexon, Curvv, Harrier and Safari, and EVs such as the Punch.ev, Nexon.ev, Curvv.ev and Harrier.ev.
The SUV will be available with petrol, diesel and electric powertrains. The petrol lineup may debut Tata’s new 1.5-litre turbocharged direct-injection (TGDI) engine, first showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo, along with a naturally aspirated version for lower variants.
A 1.5-litre diesel engine from the Curvv is also expected. Details of the
