ATLANTA — If you haven't joined in by now, it's not too late to hop on the viral new college football bandwagon of the "shirtless dudes."
The latest viral trend to strike the college football landscape hit home on The Flats this past Saturday, as a group of young Georgia Tech fans banded together in the upper deck, took off their shirts, and waved them above their heads in unison.
But the inception of this goofy and endearing display of fandom started several weeks ago at an Oklahoma State game. As the Cowboys trailed Houston 39-17 in the third quarter, one Oklahoma State fan walked over to an empty section 231 of Boone Pickens Stadium and took off his shirt, spearheading the likes of college fanbases across the country to follow suit in the weeks to come.
