The Baltimore Ravens got off to a 1-5 start to the season as star quarterback Lamar Jackson missed multiple games with an injury and the normally reliable Ravens defense struggled to stop opposing offenses.
The Ravens were expected to contend for a Super Bowl this year, but are now facing an uphill battle just to make the playoffs.
With the team struggling, Jackson decided that there needed to be changes in the locker room.
“I told him to take all the games and ping-pong, turn the TVs off. If we could’ve took the TVs out, they’d have been out, too,” Lamar Jackson said Tuesday of his message to the Ravens equipment guy. “Yeah, we had to focus.
“I wouldn’t say people don’t take the job seriously, but like, I didn’t feel like it was the time for that. We’ve got a lot of work to do.”
