The Crown prosecutor in the Andrew Rosenfeldt murder trial is not calling a jailhouse informant to testify.

Rosenfeldt, now 28, is on trial for second-degree murder at Saskatoon Court of King's Bench before Justice Heather MacMillan-Brown. Elizabeth Addabor is the prosecutor.

It's alleged Rosenfeldt murdered his girlfriend Nykera Brown, 20, in their apartment on Nov. 15, 2022. She died of a single gunshot wound, with the barrel of the sawed-off rifle under her chin.

Both Brown and Rosenfeldt were members of the Terror Squad street gang.
