WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - The Kansas Food Bank is getting ready for a surge in demand as families in need brace for November without their usual SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits.
With the government shutdown, the USDA says "the well has run dry."
