SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A woman was stabbed Tuesday morning outside a convenience store in Downtown Sacramento, officials say.
Officers with the Sacramento Police Department were dispatched to a reported stabbing around 2 a.m. at 9th and K streets.
Initially, police thought there may have been more than one victim, but only one woman was injured. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to survive, the police department said.
The circumstances leading up to the stabbing were unclear. No information on potential suspects has been released to the public at this time.
