BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) -- Bloomington Mayor Dan Brady announced an appointment on Tuesday to fill a vacancy on the Connect Transit board of trustees.
Tyler Cravens will be filling the board vacancy left after the death of Ryan Whitehouse, city spokesperson Katherine Murphy said.
Cravens has been a resident of Bloomington for 10 years and is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce.
“This appointment is both meaningful and important for our community,” Mayor Dan Brady said. “Tyler’s knowledge, professionalism, and collaborative approach make him an excellent fit for the Connect Transit Board. We appreciate his commitment to continuing the work Ryan Whitehouse cared so deeply about.”
Cravens also currently serves on the McLean County Unit 5 Citizen
