FIRST ON FOX: Officials in New Jersey released 911 call audio from a deadly alleged hit-and-run that killed two teenage girls.
Isabella Salas and Maria Niotis were killed Sept. 29 while they were riding an electric bike when a 17-year-old male allegedly hit them both with his car at around 5:26 p.m. in Cranford, New Jersey , the Union County Prosecutor's Office said. The two girls, also 17, were pronounced dead a short time later. Fox News Digital isn't naming the suspect because he hasn't yet been charged as an adult.
Police said the suspect was driving a 2021 black Jeep Compass at the time of the hit-and-run. The suspect was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and a number of traffic violations.
