LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Two teenage boys have learned their sentences after pleading guilty to charges in the death of a 13-year-old boy in Louisville's Chickasaw neighborhood.
Brad Watkins was sentenced to 23 years in prison on Oct. 15. He pleaded guilty to murder (complicity), criminal attempt murder, first-degree robbery, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of a handgun by a minor.
Daniel Wallace was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to criminal facilitation to robbery, possession of a handgun by a minor, and tampering with physical evidence.
The two teens, who were 15 and 16 at the time of the shooting, were arrested on July 17, 2024.
They were charged after a 13-year-old boy was shot in the head on June 26 in the Chickasaw neighborhood.
