Heath Secretary Robert F. Kennedy's wife, Cheryl Hines, shed light about his bizarre diet during a podcast interview on Tuesday.
Hines joined Katie Miller, who is married to White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, on her show, "The Katie Miller Podcast," to discuss her journey into the Make America Healthy Again movement. She also discussed the diet that her husband has created, which involves only meat and fermented vegetables.
"In the morning at 6:30, he's cooking a steak and eating sauerkraut," Hines said. "So, you know, when I'm just trying to have my latte and that's coming at me, it's like, whoa. Okay. Um, so yeah, I mention it every once in a while. I'll say something."
"What happens when you go out to eat?" Miller asked.
"He's so dedicated to this diet that he's eating that he will bring his own sauerkraut to a restaurant," Hines continued. "We'll be in the car dressed up. I'll have my little clutch, right? One of my good bags that I only take out every once in a while because I want to keep them nice. And he'll hand me a bag of sauerkraut and say, 'Can you put this in your bag?' and I'll say, 'I actually cannot.'"
