Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Mumbai today to attend the India Maritime Week 2025. He will address the Maritime Leaders’ Conclave and chair the Global Maritime CEO Forum. In a social media post, Mr Modi said the conclave is a great forum to build collaborations in the maritime sector and highlight India’s reforms in the same.
Meanwhile, addressing a press conference, Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal said India’s maritime sector has nearly doubled its port capacity in just 11 years under Mr. Modi’s visionary leadership, proving that India is not just keeping pace, it’s leading the way.
