MACON, Ga. — A 21-year-old woman charged in connection with a triple homicide in East Macon is being held without bond at the Bibb County Jail.
Rekeymia Henley appeared in magistrate court Tuesday afternoon, five days after authorities issued a warrant for her arrest. She turned herself in at the Bibb County Jail on Monday night.
Henley faces three counts of felony murder in the Oct. 18 shooting deaths of 16-year-old Markell Bonner Jr., 21-year-old Brandon Thomas and 27-year-old Quantayrias Townsend. She is also charged with aggravated assault and tampering with evidence.
During the brief hearing before Magistrate Judge Jerome Sinclair, Henley said little other than confirming she is a college student.
