EUGENE, Ore. – As the days start to get colder and shorter, people are using more energy and gas. One way to understand how to be more energy efficient is by going through a Home Energy Score.
“A couple of those things might be getting a heat pump, you know that's a much more efficient heating system than electric resistance heat or you know some of the other things that are out there,” Danielle Klinkebiel, Climate Policy Analyst for the City of Eugene, said. “And a home energy score can help you understand how to prioritize those different upgrades.”
Each household is different so a Home Energy Score can help point out changes to help save money.
