MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) - The Manitowoc Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying a dog and its owner involved in a dog bite of a juvenile.
On Monday afternoon, a white male was walking what appeared to be a black pit bull on a leash in the 1700 block of S. 26 th Street.
A juvenile on a scooter rode past the dog and its handler when the juvenile felt pain in their leg.
They looked down and noticed that they had a puncture in their leg.
The juvenile then realized that they were bitten by the dog and continued home to treat the wound, and the owner of the dog continued walking.
The owner was wearing blue jeans, a gray sweatshirt, and a red and tan baseball hat.
The Manitowoc Police Department is asking if anyone has any information on the identity of the dog or its own
