LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A crash report filed by Metro police indicates a teenage girl on an e-scooter was at fault in a collision in front of Centennial High School at about 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
The girl received minor injuries to her face and leg, colliding with a Mercedes-Benz driven by a man who didn't see her coming around a school bus that was stopped in a center turn lane. The bus was blocking a crosswalk, the crash report said, and instead of waiting, the girl tried to go around the front of the bus.
The scooter went into the path of the black 2017 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and the driver couldn't see her coming, the report indicated.
