HILLSBORO, Ore. (KPTV) - A Hillsboro teen was left heartbroken after the car he worked for months to buy was stolen from his driveway.

The car belonging to 19-year-old Javier Martinez was later found burned and destroyed in Marion County.

Martinez has driver’s insurance but not coverage on the car, making it a total loss.

His family has started a fundraiser to help him get back on the road with another starter car.
