The Buffalo Bills made a flurry of moves on Tuesday, October 28, promoting veterans to the active roster in safety Jordan Poyer and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips. In the wake of defensive tackle Ed Oliver’s biceps tear that landed him on Injured Reserve, One Bills Drive also brought in four free-agent defensive linemen for tryouts.
One of those tryouts proved fruitful for both sides, with defensive tackle Olatunbosun “Tommy” Akingbesote reportedly signing on with the Bills ahead of the team’s Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
