SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - This week’s ABC7 Athlete of the Week is Riverview High School’s Jadyn Brester. She’s a senior and a volleyball player for the Riverview Lady Rams.

“We’ve been doing certain drills to work on defense, connecting with setters for offense,” Brester said. “Kind of like just trying to put the team together so we can flow. It’s nervous and exciting. It’s just a lot of emotion.”

Although their season just came to an end, Brester says it’s been an enjoyable experience. She will always remember and cherish the memories that she made during her senior campaign.

“It’s so much fun,” Brester said. “This group of girls this year has probably been one of my favorites. We just connect so well off the court. We balance off of each other really well.”
