An Afghan asylum seeker has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a triple stabbing in west London left a 49-year-old dog walker dead and two others injured. Police were called to Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge, around 5pm on Monday following reports of multiple stabbings. Officers said the 49-year-old man, believed to have been walking past a house during a dispute, died at the scene. A 45-year-old man suffered “life-changing” injuries, while a 14-year-old boy’s wounds were described as non-life-threatening. The suspect, a 22-year-old Afghan national, was tasered and arrested at the scene. The Home Office confirmed he entered the UK illegally in 2020 via lorry and was granted asylum in 2022.
