The Dallas Mavericks have filed a lawsuit against the Dallas Stars over the ownership and management of the American Airlines Center (AAC).

The Mavericks claim the Stars breached a contract by moving their headquarters to Frisco in 2003, giving the Mavs the right to buy out their share of the arena.

The City of Dallas is siding with the Mavericks, asserting the Stars are in breach of their franchise agreement for moving their headquarters.
