AUSTIN, Texas — Stormwaters likely played a role in the deaths of two people whose bodies were found over the weekend, the Austin Police Department (APD) said in an update on Monday.
On Saturday, Oct. 25, APD officers responded to two separate incidents where the bodies of a man and a woman were found.
The man was found at the 100 block of South First Street , near Lady Bird Lake. The woman was found in the 4700 block of Unity Circle , near Shoal Creek and close to the intersection of West 45th Street and Shoal Creek Boulevard.
Neither case is being investigated as a homicide, police said.
On Tuesday, APD identified the man as 42-year-old Amado Ravelos and the woman as 43-year-old Tonya Conner.
