Government of Alberta does disservice to public health with wildly confusing and complicated immunization program

In the five years since COVID-19 became a public health problem for governments to manage, the only constant has been constant change.

Inconsistent and confusing messaging might have been forgiven at the start, given the initial lack of understanding of the scope and impact the novel coronavirus would have.

The same would have been true when the first vaccines became available.

But by now, with COVID-19 no longer a public health emergency and several years of experience under the belts of people in charge, you’d expect immunization campaigns to go more smoothly.
