Srinagar, Oct 29: Renowned Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi observed the proceedings of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly from the Speaker’s gallery on Wednesday.

Announcing his presence, Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather said, “Today, we have renowned Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi in the Speaker’s gallery. He has worked in more than 200 films. We welcome him.”

Rishi, best known for his powerful roles in films such as Sarfarosh, hails from Jammu, often referred to as the City of Temples. His visit to the Assembly drew attention from both lawmakers and onlookers, marking a moment of cinematic charm within the political corridors of the Union Territory. (Agencies)
