WINTHROP — A comedy full of wild and wooly Western spoofs begins next weekend in the Gibbon Fairfax Winthrop (GFW) High School theater.
Teaming with Sibley East High School again, GFW presents its fall play “How the West was Dun” Nov. 1-2.
The play features slick and wealthy Richard Coldheart (Eli Molash) who must marry Polly Wanda Cracker (Sylvia Schull) to control her property.
However, it’s Polly’s homely sister, Prunella (Lydia Chapman) who wants to marry him.
Meanwhile, our hero, Sheriff Wayne John (Tyler Aden) has his hands full surviving the hilarious antics of well meaning but not too bring Deputy Doowrong (Kalli Aden).
