Coronation Street viewers will be wondering why there will be no installment of the Manchester-based soap on Wednesday (October 29), right after a huge Weatherfield return.

On Monday (October 27), Eva Price returned to the cobbles after seven years away and introduced a new family to the famous street.

Eva and Ben Driscoll were excited to welcome residents of Coronation Street to their first night in the pub, but the celebrations were soon halted as Maggie Driscoll made an appearance.

Speaking of her Maggie co-star, actress Catherine Tyldesley gushed: "Pauline (McLynn) is like my girl crush. She’s phenomenal. She is hilariously funny but also the heartbreak side of things — she’s incredible.
