Bill Burr Has Some Choice Words for Marc Maron and His Other Critics

On his podcast this week, Bill Burr doesn’t say their names, but it’s clear who he’s talking about—those who criticized him for performing at the Riyadh Comedy Festival earlier this month.

After ironically ranting about billionaires who can’t be content with their wealth, Burr grumbled, “I’m still thinking about that bullsh** from a few weeks ago. That was a bunch of $%@$@. That was one of the hardest things ever—to keep my mouth shut and not trash every one of those *****.”

The “thing from a few weeks ago” was clearly the Riyadh Comedy Festival and the backlash from Marc Maron and David Cross over his appearance there.
