A 21-minute audio of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar lays out a chilling blueprint to recruit, train and deploy women in terror roles, signalling a dangerous expansion of the Pakistan-based group’s campaign against India.
Earlier this month, India Today reported that Jaish had formed a women’s wing called Jamaat-ul-Mominat to bolster its ranks after nearly being decimated during Operation Sindoor. Now, a recording of Masood Azhar’s speech at Markaz Usman-o-Ali in Bahawalpur accessed by India Today lays bare the terror mastermind’s sinister plan.
In his speech, Azhar promises that any woman who joins “will go straight to paradise from her grave after death”.
The all-women brigade, he says, will serve as a counter to what he calls enemy use of women in armies and media.
