Seven Monroe County Region football teams will begin the state playoffs this week.

Two go head-to-head as Flat Rock visits Jefferson for a Division 5 showdown.

Lincoln Park (5-4) at Gibraltar Carlson (9-0)

Division : 2.

When : 7 p.m. Friday.

All-time series : Carlson leads the series 17-5.

Last meeting : Carlson won 59-36 on Oct. 17.

Carlson playoff history : Qualified in each of the past nine seasons and 18 times overall. Playoff record is 8-17.

Lincoln Park playoff history : This is the sixth time in the playoffs for the Railsplitters and first time since 2020.
