The Kurri Kurri Gymnastics Club will spring into a milestone birthday this week by unveiling its newly-upgraded facilities.

For the past four decades, the sporting organisation has played a pivotal role in the community, training local children and young people in a fun and inclusive environment.

But, thanks to a highly-competitive grant opportunity, via the Australian Government’s Department of Health and Aging’s Play Our Way initiative, The Centre-based premises in Lang Street recently underwent a makeover.

The improvements include all-new bathrooms and changerooms, as well as reverse-cycle air-conditioning, ensuring the service is usable throughout the cold winters and warm summers of the Hunter.
