The Nov. 4 general election is quickly approaching. Has anyone registered as a write-in candidate in Monroe County? Are any county precincts offering early voting?
Annamarie Osment, Monroe County clerk and register of deeds, said no one submitted a write-in candidate declaration of intent by the Oct. 24 filing deadline.
Osment said just one Monroe County precinct — the city of Monroe — is offering early voting for the Nov. 4 election.
“City of Monroe is the only one offering early voting, and only for two days, in the City Council Chambers at City Hall (120 E. First St.)," Osment said. "It will be Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1. Each day will be from 8 a.m.-4 p.m."
Polls across Monroe County will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 4. Find poll locations here .
