More than 50 tall ships from 30 countries will sail from the Verrazzano Bridge to the George Washington Bridge on July 4, 2026.
From the bluffs of Fort Lee to the overlooks in Englewood Cliffs, Bergen County will have a front-row view when the Hudson River fills with sails on July 4, 2026.
The Parade of Ships, part of the nation’s semiquincentennial celebration, is expected to bring tall ships, naval vessels and historic replicas up the river in a display reminiscent of one 50 years earlier during Op Sail 1976. In all, more than 50 tall ships from around the world are expected to participate in Sail4th 250, which will be New York and New Jersey’s official celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
