Sainsbury's customers have slammed a major change to its Nectar system as some say they're "finished" with the grocer.

Clients of the supermarket have been told from this week they must use a QR code in the Nectar app to collect and spend points.

Previously, shoppers could pick up and use points by the barcode system, and while you will still be able to collect them this way - you will no longer be able to spend them like this.

Sainsbury's issued a statement with all the information surrounding the update, including urging customers to make sure you have the latest edition of the app to access the QR code.
