A man has been arrested after armed police swarmed a Parkhouse high-rise flat building on Monday.

Officers were called to Broadholm Street at around 9.50am on Monday, October 27, following reports of the incident.

Police say a 57-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection. Enquiries are ongoing

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.50am on Monday, 27 October, 2025, we were called to Broadholm Street in Glasgow after reports of a disturbance.

"Officers attended and a 57-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection.

"He will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal and enquiries are ongoing."
