MOSINEE – United Airlines will soon return to the Central Wisconsin Airport.
According to a release from CWA, United Airlines will fly three flights daily to Chicago O’Hare starting in the spring of 2026.
United Airlines left CWA in January 2022 due to a shortage of pilots, crew and every position involved , following a national worker shortage issue many airline companies faced post-pandemic.
The airport’s director, Brian Grefe, said United Airlines’ return marked a significant milestone for the area.
“With the return of United Airlines, Central Wisconsin will be served by three commercial airlines, offering more choices and greater convenience for our travelers,” Grefe said in the release.
According to the release, United Airlines will start the three daily flights May 21, 2026. F
