BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Students at a school in Livingston Parish were greeted by a one-time supervillain.
The drop-off line at Live Oak Middle School was different on Tuesday morning as Live Oak Middle School Principal Ryan Hodges put on a "Gru" costume and wore it while directing traffic and greeting the kids.
Hodges said, "It is Red Ribbon week and today's theme is "Drugs are Despicable!" He was not the only one who dressed up at the school on Tuesday.
According to the principal, students also followed the "Despicable Me" theme and dressed up as minions.
Principal Hodges said he wears the costume all day.
Will the Live Oak Middle School principal put on another costume this week?
He said, "You never know, I might. It just depends on what I can find for Friday."
