HOLBROOK, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was accused of raping a 74-year-old woman in her Holbrook home on Friday, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

Police said it happened between 6:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. The victim was sitting on her couch when she was approached by the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Jawarren Booker, according to authorities.

Police said Booker, from Ridge, allegedly got into her home through the window. Booker is accused of attacking and raping the woman, according to authorities.

Police said Booker allegedly fled from the home and the woman called 911. She was taken to a local hospital for her injuries, according to authorities.

Booker was arrested and charged with rape and burglary. He’s expected to be arraigned on Wednesday.
