Experts have confirmed that mosquitos were found in Iceland for the first time

The country was one of only two places in the world where mosquitos had not been found before the discovery earlier this month

Mosquitos have been found in Iceland for the very first time.

Björn Hjaltason, an insect enthusiast, shared a post on the Facebook group “Insects in Iceland” on Oct. 16 about a "strange fly" he had found.
