A new search is taking place beginning Wednesday morning in New London, New Hampshire, in connection with a decades-old unsolved murder.
The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office announced that members of the New Hampshire Cold Case Unit, in conjunction with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, began a search in the area of the Esther Currier Wildlife Management Area as part of the ongoing investigation into the 1978 unsolved murder of Catherine "Cathy" Millican.

"The search poses no danger to the public and is focused on locating physical evidence," the attorney general's office said.
