"South Park" is deviating from its normal release schedule for a special Halloween episode addressing President Donald Trump's demolition of the East Wing of the White House.
Comedy Central announced the change on the "South Park" social media pages on Oct. 28 with a series of clips teasing the episode, including footage of Trump and members of his administration.
The Halloween special will replace the show's next episode, which was scheduled to air on Wednesday, Oct. 29, Comedy Central confirmed to USA TODAY.
Here's what to know about the special episode and the other upcoming episodes.
'South Park' Halloween special to take aim at Trump's White House demolition
The special "South Park" episode will air on Halloween night and is titled "The Woman In The Hat."
Its log line reads: "The White House deals with a disruptive spirit from the east wing; Stan worries that South Park has become too political."
Earlier this month, the White House confirmed that the "entirety" of the East Wing was being demolished to make room for a new ballroom. The demolition, a stark reversal of Trump's earlier plan for the renovation, has sparked criticism from some.
The new "South Park" episode comes after the show has repeatedly mocked Trump and others in his cabinet, including Vice President JD Vance and the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.
The White House hit back at "South Park" after the show first parodied Trump in July.
"This show hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention," White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers said in a statement to USA TODAY on July 24. "President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country's history — and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump's hot streak."

The special Halloween episode of "South Park" will air on Friday, Oct. 31, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
