As often is the case with these situations, the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle. Fife is far from a scrub, but he's not on track to be CUSA's MVP either.

Fife deserves some criticism. He's put the ball in harm's way too much and sometimes holds onto it too long before taking a sack. But Fife has played better than some might think, and he's consistently made plays that either help the Aggies win or keep them in games.
