Week 9 of the high school football season is upon us.

Heading into the final week of the regular season — which includes a bevy of key games on Halloween Night — just five teams have clinched Week 10 playoff berths — Kelso (7-1), Evergreen (5-3), Washougal (7-1), La Center (7-1) and Seton Catholic (6-2).

The rest will be decided by Friday night. Or maybe not.

Here are the Week 9 scenarios.

4A GSHL

Friday’s game between Skyview (3-5, 1-1) and Camas (6-2, 1-1) lost a bit of its luster when Skyview fell to Battle Ground on Friday.

But it hasn’t changed anything for the Papermakers. If Camas wins this one, they secure their fifth consecutive 4A Greater St. Helens League title.

And if Camas wins, then Battle Ground (4-4, 1-1) gets the second playoff berth with a win Thursday at home agai
