Another New Orleans Recreation Development Commission program has been paused due to the city budget crisis.

NORD said it is pausing the program to evaluate options and budget allocations for next year and does not have a timeline for future sessions.

While acknowledging the disappointment these changes may cause, NORD stated that they are necessary to align programming with current city resources.

On Monday, NORD paused its teen internship program due to budget cuts.
