(WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin say one man is now in custody for allegedly committing two sexual assaults within a 48-hour time span.
According to a release from the Barron County Sheriff's Office, deputies from Barron County, along with Washburn County deputies and officers with the Rice Lake Police Department, arrested Devon Bernstein at 10:38 a.m. on Tuesday.
Officials say Bernstein was being arrested for two alleged sexual assault incidents within a time span of 48 hours.
When confronted, he tried to evade police, but a deputy was able to successfully use an Electric Control Device (stun gun) to bring him into custody.
Bernstein was taken to the Barron County Jail, where he is awaiting potential charges. No other information is available at this time.
