Three men have appeared in court accused of murder following an incident in Cheetham Hill.

Vernard Murray, 26, died after being stabbed last Thursday. The emergency services were called to Cardinal Street at 2.25pm on October 23.

Three men were charged with murder in connection with Mr Murray’s death. Lee Williams (11/08/2006), John Harte (08/01/2007), and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were all charged with murder.

The trio appeared at Manchester magistrates’ court on Tuesday, before the case was transferred to Manchester Crown Court today.
