CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — With Election Day less than a week away, voters in Virginia’s House of Delegates District 75 are preparing to choose between incumbent Republican Delegate Carrie Coyner and Democratic challenger Lindsey Dougherty.
"We are busy door-knocking," Coyner said. "So a lot of time spent out in the community talking to voters at their door."
Dougherty said she’s doing the same.
"[We're] out knocking doors every single day, calling neighbors every single day, making sure that we aren’t leaving any portion of the district untouched," she said.
District 75 includes the City of Hopewell, part of Prince George County and part of Chesterfield County — where Coyner previously served on the Chesterfield School Board before entering state politics.
