KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help getting a dog back to its owner.

According to the sheriff’s office, the owner let her French Bulldog named Papí out to use the bathroom. He then ran to the neighbor’s house, which prompted the owner to grab her shoes inside. They say that when the owner returned- Papí was gone.

In a video shared on Facebook , a woman pulled up, called him to her car and drove off with Papí.

The post said the dog was taken from the Three Point Landing subdivision by a woman in a black vehicle, believed to be a Kia Optima. They said they hope the woman possibly took him because she believed he was lost, and that she will return the dog to its owner.

The sheriff’s office is asking for any information that will help Papí return
